The leaves are first cleaned under running water to remove the sticky resin, then submerged in a syrup mixture made from water and sugar. This pine needle concentrate is fermented from 6 months to a year, or even up to 3 years, inside a closed container. Once fully fermented and ready to consume, the concentrate is mixed with water to be enjoyed as a tea.<\/p>\n<p>Consuming Fermented Pine Needle Tea has an abundance of health benefits\u00a0including its detoxifying and anti-aging effects, antiseptic properties, and high levels\u00a0of vitamins A, B, and C.
