The 2015 James Beard Foundation Food Conference: Rethinking the Future of Food

October 19-20, 2015

Established in 2010, the JBF Food Conference investigates critical issues that face the food industry, such as sustainability, economics, and media. This two-day event consists of roundtable discussions, panels, and speakers.

Building on last year’s theme of prescriptions for a healthier America, the 2015 James Beard Foundation Conference: Rethinking the Future of Food will look at what’s in front of us through three powerful lenses: the future of the farm, the future of the kitchen, and the future of health.

The presenters of the event are thought leaders and provocateurs, including NASA’s Chief Data Scientist, MOMA’s Chief Design Curator, the creator of Modernist Cuisine, FoodCorps Service Members, scientist-entrepreneurs working on everything from seed creation to cultured meat, chefs, journalists, activists, investors and more.
