Fermented Pine Needle Tea is made with cleaned pine needle leaves, water, and sugar. The leaves are first cleaned under running water to remove the sticky resin, then submerged in a syrup mixture made from water and sugar. This pine needle concentrate is fermented from 6 months to a year, or even up to 3 years, inside a closed container. Once fully fermented and ready to consume, the concentrate is mixed with water to be enjoyed as a tea.

Consuming Fermented Pine Needle Tea has an abundance of health benefits including its detoxifying and anti-aging effects, antiseptic properties, and high levels of vitamins A, B, and C. Pine Needle Tea is especially good for throat, sinus and lung health and acts as a decongestant and expectorant, but is not recommended for pregnant mothers.
